I tend to take a long time so I'm biased. I would be okay with 5 seconds if that's what Felix decides; it's just not my preference. Regardless, I don't think that the time limit should just suddenly be updated 30s -> 5s. It should be updated something like my previous suggestion.

5 seconds is too low in my opinion. I would think 10 at the lowest. But the sudden shift from 30s -> 10s would be very jarring. I would suggest lowering it in stages, like 30s -> 20s -> 15s -> 10s, with each stage lasting a week or something. That way people can get used to it.

Absolutely not, because this communicates information. Knowing that someone _cannot_ play is a massive advantage. I sometimes use my timer strategically to bluff.
